Because of COVID, I’ve decided just to sell online this year. But because I don’t plan on this being the typical situation, I’m too lazy to set up a store! (And it’s expensive.)
How do I buy? If you’re interested in any of the pieces below, drop me an email at john@johneck.com or text 816-255-0956 with the number (i.e. #105) of the item. I’ll reserve it for you and you can pay over Paypal (phone 816-255-0956) or Venmo (John Eck or @rafter-e-studio). If you prefer, I can also call you for a credit card number and use Square. If you don’t hear from me in 24 hours or less, please call or text again in case your note got buried!
How do I get my purchase? Preferably, I’ll leave it for you outside our house in midtown KC (we have a safe pickup/drop-off box). If you prefer it be mailed, let me know in your note and I’ll calculate shipping. (If I’m in your neighborhood, I can also drop it off.)
What am I buying? All of the work is handbuilt stoneware ceramic, electric-fired to Cone 6. All are finished with some combination of glazes, slips and/or raw surfaces on the exterior, and a waterproof epoxy resin liner. Don’t put them in the oven, but just about anything else should be fine! NOTE: I have multiples of most of the things listed, so what you get might have very, very minor differences from the photo, since no two are exactly alike. (But if you’ve seen my work, you know they’re pretty close. And you’re always welcome to return it if you like.)
What if I don’t like it in-person, or have a problem with it? Just return it and I’ll credit back the $$.
Sorry we can’t see you in person, but surely next year we will! (I will update this page as quickly as I can after items sell out.) Work with strike-through over the text is sold.
